Yuvraj set to lose Kings XI captaincy

Indian superstar Yuvraj Singh is close to losing the captaincy of the Kings XI Punjab as the team's management look to make sweeping changes to rebound from missing out on last years semi finals.
A source from the team said "The management wants Yuvi to concentrate more on his game and its a thought that he should be relieved from the burden of the captaincy. However, nothing concrete has been decided yet."

The Kings XI were one of the surprise packages in the inaugural IPL in 2008 reaching the semi finals before losing to the Chennai Super Kings. Fortunes were mixed a year later in South Africa as the team missed out on a semi final berth after losing their final group game against the Super Kings.

The team source insisted that Yuvraj wasn't being removed from the captaincy because Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara was being lined up to lead the team.
