The Delhi Daredevils have completed the signing of Australian all rounder Moises Henriques in a trade with the Kolkata Knight Riders which saw Owais Shah move to the Knight Riders.
Henriques was a key player in the New South Wales Blues team that won the inaugural Twenty20 Champions League in October. Signed by the Knight Riders for $300,000 the all rounder will add much needed depth to the Daredevils squad.
Shah was signed by the Delhi Daredevils for $275,000 during the second player auction in January. Despite being part of the squad which travelled to South Africa Shah never played in the second IPL but he did play 4 times for the Daredevils in the Champions League scoring 74 runs.
Henriques played in all six of the Blues Champions League games scoring 119 runs and taking 10 wickets.
