Felix Austin | cricket20
The IPL player auction is under way in Mumbai with the 8 teams surprising everybody by not bidding for Pakistan Twenty20 captain Shahid Afridi.
Afridi, who's base rate was $250,000 was expected to be one of the hottest properties in the auction but when bidding was opened no bids were made.

Afridi who is playing for the West End Redbacks in the KFC Big Bash is one of the worlds best Twenty20 players but with tension between Indian and Pakistan still remain high the franchises have decoded not to sign in.

It could be a sign of what will happen tonight with the over Pakistan players in the auction.
