Mumbai Indians win bidding for Kieron Pollard

The Mumbai Indians have beat off stiff competition to win the bidding for West Indian all rounder Kieron Pollard for $750,000.
Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Rajasthan all bid the maximum price allowed of $750,000 and a silent bid was made between the four teams with Mumbai ending up the winning.

Pollard first burst into the limelight during last years Twenty20 Champions League in India while playing for Trinidad and Tobago. He has since enjoyed a successful spell playing for the West End Redbacks in the KFC Big Bash in Australia.
