Victoria skipper Cameron White will have to decide in the next few days whether to delay his arrival in India in order to play in the Sheffield Shield final.
White, who plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore could loss up to $180,000 in match payments if he decides to play in the Sheffield Shield final for Victoria.
The Bushrangers hold a three point lead at the top of the Sheffield Shield table and are expected to claim one of the two places in the four day final which starts on Wednesday, March 17th.
If white decides to stay in Australia and play for Victoria he will miss 5 games for the Royal Challengers. White told the Australian newspaper ‘The Age’ he hadn’t decided yet.
“I can play in the Shield final and then go to the IPL if that's what I choose to do. But I don't have to do anything for another month yet. I'm not interested in making a decision either way just at the moment. I'll just take all the [security] information in and see what happens” white said.
