The Rajasthan Royals recovered from losing Michael Lumb from the first ball of the innings to set the Kolkata Knight Riders a target of 168 to chase for victory at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Faiz Fazal (31) and Naman Ojha (27) helped the Royals recover with a second wicket partnership of 42 before Abhishek Jhunjhunwala played a patient middle order innings to score 45 but the Roylas will feel they ended their innings 20 or 30 runs short of a good total.

Paras Dogra (0) and Shane Warner (1) were dismissed cheaply as the Royals lost their way in the final few overs but Voges (37) hit back smashing 2 sixes off the bowling Sharma in the final over to help the Royals reach 167-7 giving them hope of recording their first victory.
