Groin injury forces Parnell out of IPL

South African fast bowler Wayne Parnell will miss the rest of this years Indian Premier League after picking up a groin injury during a pre game warm up..
Parnell was brought by the Delhi DareDevils in the player auction January for $610,000 will flu back to South Africa in order to be assessed by Cricket South Africa doctors.

The injury is not expected to rule him out of the Proteas Twenty20 World Cup squad but it is another blow to an already injury hit DareDevils teams.

Parnell’s injury adds him to an ever expanding list of big name players who are out of action after picking up injuries during the IPL.
