Sangakkara fined again over slow over rates

The Kings XI Punjab has been fined by the Indian Premier League for maintaining a low over rate during their 31 run defeat against the Rajasthan Royals last night.
The team were considered to be one over behind the required rate.

It is the second time the Kings XI have been fined over slow overs during this years tournament meaning skipper Kumar Sangakkara will receive a $40,000 fine while the players will each be fined $10,000 under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over rate offences.

The defeat leaves the Kings XI routed to the bottom of the IPL group table.
