Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni was pleased with his teams performance after their 23 run victory over the Rajasthan Royals.
Dhoni reserved special praise for Morali Vijay whos stunning innings of 127 from just 55 balls helped the Chennai Super Kings score an IPL record 246 runs.

"Vijay batted brilliantly, and gave us the kind of start one needs in a T20 game. They did really well to come back but Bollinger was superb, the catch he took of Yusuf was very crucial," said Dhoni.

"Before we went into field, I knew that they had an equal chance of getting to the total because the wicket was flat, but for Bollinger to come out straight from the plane and play like this was absolutely brilliant."

Despite the defeat Shane Warne praised his batsman for the way they batted despite such a big run chase. "It was a fantastic game of cricket, we did really well to fight till the end, credit to Ojha, Lumb and Watson, they were absolutely superb," said Warne.

"I think we could have fielded a bit better, dropping Morkel a few times didn't help. Still long way to go, hope we bounce back," he added.
