Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bat first in the 2010 Indian Premier League Final against the Mumbai Indians.

The big news at the toss was the fitness of Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar. After suffering a hand injury during his team’s victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore there was some doubts as to whether Tendulkar would play.

Despite needing 5 stitches Tendulkar declared himself fit. "I've decided to play, fantastic atmosphere. We are excited to be here, the moment has come and hope we have a good day. The wicket looks fantastic, and the team has played well so far," said Tendulkar.

Both teams have named unchanged sides after their victories in the semi finals.
