Kings XI Punjab have signed South African all rounder Ryan McLaren after Stuart Broad and Dimitri Mascarenhas were forced to withdraw from next months tournament.
McLaren, who played for the Mumbai Indians last year, was approached by the Kings XI at the weekend as they look to replace Broad and Mascarenhas

The franchise will be without Broad after the England fast bowler picked up a side strain during the World Cup which ruled him out of the rest of the tournament.

All rounder, Mascarenhas is still recovering from Achilles injury he picked up last year which ruled him out of most of the 2010 Indian Premier League.

Having failed to find a buyer during the IPL player auction in January McLaren can sign for the Kings XI for the base rate of $100,000.
