A fractured finger looks likely to rule Indian bowler Ashish Nehra out of the start of the IPL dealing a blow to new franchise the Pune Warriors.
The 31 year old seems likely to miss the Warriors opening two games against the Kings XI Punjab and the Kochi Tuskers Kerala fracturing his finger.

The Indian international sustained the injury to his right hand during India’s 29 run semi-final victory against Pakistan last Wednesday in Mohali.

Having missed out on playing in Saturday’s final against Sri Lanka, Nehra will now concentrate on regaining his fitness in order to join up with his new teammates in Pune.
