Kings XI snap up Miller to strengthen squad

The Kings XI Punjab have announced the signing of David Miller as they look to fill the gaps left by Stuart Broad and Dimitri Mascarenhas who were ruled out the tournament through injury.
21 year old Miller joins fellow South African Ryan McLaren in the Kings XI squad as replacements for Broad and Mascarenhas.

The franchise will be without Broad after the England fast bowler picked up a side strain during the World Cup which as ruled him out of the rest of the tournament.

Fellow Englishman Mascarenhas is still recovering from Achilles injury he picked up last year which ruled him out of most of the 2010 Indian Premier League.

Miller, who made his international debut for the Proteas in 2010 averages 41 with the bat and will give the Kings XI strength in their middle order.
