Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Daniel Vettori has targeted his side to bounce back after their disappointing 9 wicket defeat against the Mumbai Indians.
The Indians cruised to victory thanks to Sachin Tendulkar (55) and Ambati Rayudu (63) who recorded a 2nd wicket partnership of 110 which allowed the visitors to cruise home almost unchallenged.
"I think particularly for lot of us who have lost our first game in front of Bangalore crowd, so we felt that we have let them down with that performance. It is kind of sinking game of season but we are going to pick up ourselves pretty quickly,” said Vettori.
"We have got couple of quick games in row and it is important that we play well because Mumbai obviously is one of the favourites and Chennai next. So it is keep going on and you just have to pick up every time," he added.
Having comfortably beaten the Kochi Tuskers Kerala on Saturday the Royal Challengers suffered a torrid time with the bat reaching 140-4 thanks in no small part to Tillakaratne Dilshan.
The Sri Lankan scored a vital half century to hold together the Royal Challengers innings after they had slumped to 19-2 after 5 overs.
