Deccan Chargers skipper Kumar Sangakkara was pleased with his sides performance after their 33 run victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The victory, the first of the season for the Chargers also breaks a 9 game losing streak at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium which stretches back to the inaugural IPL tournament in 2008.

"A win is a win. It's great to get the momentum and the confidence back, to get that winning feeling back but 20-20 every game is new game," said Sangakkara.

"So we can't really sit back and think that Oh! It's going to happen. So, there are few things we need to improve on and just keep playing like we do," he added.

The skipper was also full of praise for Virat Kohli who smashed 71 from just 51 deliveries for the Royal Challengers.

"When Virat was going, it was still a very uphill struggle for RCB because they had lost a lot of wickets and the momentum was all with us and he needed to something unbelievable to really get them all in line so all we had to was to hold our nerve and keep bowling the areas we wanted to bowl."
