Tuskers win the toss, Indians put into bat

Kochi Tuskers Kerala skipper Mahela Jayawardene has won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The new franchise comes into the game still searching for their first victory while the Indians will be looking to make it three wins out of three.



Having lost their opening two games the Tuskers have dropped Muttiah Muralitharan and Sreesanth and replaced them with Thisara Perera and Ramesh Powar.



The Tuskers will also be without VVS Laxman who as pulled his back, the batsman is replaced by 26 year old Kedar Jadhav.



The Indians meanwhile have rested New Zealander James Franklin and given fit again Andrew Symonds his first start for the home side in this years tournament.
