Dhoni wins the toss, elects to bat first

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bat first against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The Super Kings will be looking to bounce back after their shock 6 wicket defeat against the Kings XI Punjab who successfully chased down a victory target of 189 thanks in no small part to Paul Valthaty who scored the first century in this years tournament.

The Royals Challengers will be looking to secure a vital victory against the defending champions after two disappointing defeats against the Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians.

The home side have brought in Michael Hussey who is available for the first time in this years tournament, the Aussies replaced Scott Styris while the Royals Challengers have dropped Sreenath Aravind who is replaced by Asad Pathan.
