Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Pune Warriors in a vital game for the visitors at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai.
The Knight Riders will be looking to strengthen their chances of securing a place in the play offs with a victory over a Warriors side looking to end their first campaign on a high.

With the Kings XI Punjab snapping at their heels the Knight Riders will be desperate for a victory but they come up against Sourav Ganguly for the first time since the former Indian skipper was snubbed at the player’s auction in January.

The 38 year old will be hoping to make a significant contribution for the Warriors and leave the Knight Riders facing a must win game against the Mumbai Indians on Sunday night.

The Warriors have brought Sachin Rana and Alfonso Thomas into the line up while the Knight Riders are without Mark Boucher and Eoin Morgan.
