Mumbai Indians skipper Sachin Tendulkar has won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Kolkata Knight Riders in a vital game for both teams at Eden Gardens.
Both teams come into the game with a realistic chance of securing a top two finish and more importantly claim a place in the first play off match on Tuesday at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

By finishing in the top two the winner will also have the luxury of knowing, should they lose the first play off match their tournament won’t end as the loser will face off against the winner of the 3rd and 4th place eliminator for place in the final.

The Knight Riders will claim that all important second place with victory while the Indians would have to secure a larger win in order to leap frog the Chennai Super Kings because of the defending champion’s superior run rate.

The Indians have brought in Ray Price and Abu Nechim while the Knight Riders name the same line up which beat the Pune Warriors by 7 wickets last week.
