Sachin Tendulkar has stepped down as skipper of the Mumbai Indians on the eve of this years Indian Premier League which gets under tomorrow.
Tendulkar, who will be replaced by Harbhajan Singh as captain made the decision based purely on needing a "break from the responsibility of captaincy".
"The Mumbai Indians is more than a team. It is like a family to me. At this point of time, I feel I need a break from the responsibility of captaincy," said Tendulkar in a statement..
