Tillakaratne Dilshan rediscovered his form to help the Royal Challengers cruise to a comprehensive 46 run victory over the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The Sri Lankan scored 76 runs from 58 deliveries including ten boundaries and one six to hand the Royals their first home defeat and move the Royal Challengers into the top half of the IPL group standings.
AB de Villiers smashed five sixes and three boundaries during a quick fire 59 from just 23 deliveries to leave the home side facing a run chase of 190 after the Royal Challengers recorded an impressive total of 189-3.
Faced with a mammoth run chase the Royals never threatened the visitors thanks to KP Appanna (4-19) who picked up four wickets to leave the home side 91-4 at the start of the 14th over.
Royals skipper Rahul Dravid (58) tried to keep his side in the match with a resistant half century but with no support from the rest of the top order the Royals challenge soon faded away.
