Nathan Astle made an unbeaten 40 off 37 balls to guide New Zealand to a five wicket win over Sri Lanka in their second Twenty20 match at Auckland on Tuesday.
New Zealand meet Sri Lanka in the second international on Tuesday afternoon, with Sri Lanka grabbing an 18-run Duckworth-Lewis win in the first Twenty20 match in Wellington last Friday.
Black Caps batsman Peter Fulton says they're trying to approach the game as seriously as they can.
He realises it's a lot of fun for the crowd, but also thinks there may come a time at the World Cup when a match is shortened to 20 overs.
With Stephen Fleming about to take a rest for Tuesday's Twenty20 match, fellow batsman Fulton thinks he's safe from rotation.
Fulton says not worried about being stood down or rotated - he says it's probably going to apply to senior players and ones more susceptible to injury.
Play begins at 2:00pm in what are expected to be conditions ranging from cloudy to fine.
