Tendulkar leads Mumbai to 31 run win

Tamil Nadu has made it to the finals of the All India inter-state Twenty20 tourney, after Mumbai defeated Bengal by 31 runs in the last game of Group 'B', played under lights at the Sardar Patel Stadium.
Though Mumbai has 12 points from three wins, Tamil Nadu qualifies for the finals as TN had the advantage of having beaten it in an earlier encounter.
Tamil Nadu now meet winners of Group 'A' Punjab in the finals of championship to be played on April 21 at Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Bengal with six points from two wins stand third in Group B. Both MP and Haryana with a win each (four points) lie at the bottom of the table.
Earlier, Mumbai won the toss and set a competitive target of 148 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs.
Sachin Tendulkar top scored for Mumbai with 38 runs from 26 balls. He hit six fours and one six. Mumbai skipper Amol Mazumdar(34) and opener Ajinkya Rahane (33) were the other notable batsman for Mumbai.
