England will play two Twenty20 Internationals next summer against Sri Lanka and Pakistan the ECB have announced today.
England will play two Twenty20 Internationals next summer against Sri Lanka and Pakistan the ECB have announced today.
After the success of this years Natwest Twenty20 International at the Rose Bowl against Australia the ECB have announced plans to increase the number of games England are involved in to two next summer.
They will play Sri Lanka at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, June 15th 2006 while Pakistan will be the opposition at Bristol on Monday August 28th 2006.
The announcement comes just a day after the ICC announced plans to rejuvenate One Day Cricket after a down turn in its popularity at a time when the Twenty20 cricket is packing County grounds up and down the Country.
