Afternoon rain delays the start in Cardiff

Javinder Singh | cricket20

Heavy afternoon rain has forced the start on tonights Twenty20 International between England and Pakistan at the SWALEC Stadium to be delayed.

After a dry sunny day in Cardiff the rain clouds moved in across the city and with just an hour to go before the start of the game the heavens opened.

The rain slowly moved away; and by 17.30 local time, the showers had finished leaving the ground staff with a massive clear up operation to get the game under way on time.
