England hero Chris Woakes is full of confidence ahead of their series deciding clash against Australia at the MCG on Friday night.

With victory in the first game of the series at the Adelaide Oval already secured England are assured of completing their 16th unbeaten series in a row in all three formats of the game.

A victory at the MCG will also see the t20 World Cup winners stretch their record breaking unbeaten streak to nine t20 internationals.

Woakes, who hit the winning runs at the Adelaide Oval admitted after the game to being nervous but he expects to handle the pressure at the MCG despite a crowd of 70,000 expected for tonight’s clash.

"I think I'll cope pretty well. I was nervous before yesterday's game when there was 30,000 people which is a pretty big crowd," said Woakes.

"But I think it would be a bit wrong not to have nerves before your debut for England. I'm looking forward to it if I get the chance tomorrow," he added.
