Mohammad Hafeez smashed a quick fire half century and then picked up four wickets to help Pakistan complete a crushing 85 run victory over Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club.
The Pakistan opener scored 71 runs from just 48 deliveries, including six boundaries and three sixes to help his side record a mammoth total of 198-4.
Having been put into bat, Pakistan got off to a rapid start thanks to Hafeez and Asad Shafiq (38) who shared an opening stand of 74 before Shafiq was run out by Tatenda Taibu in the 7th over.
Despite the set back Hafeez , Rameez Raja (23) and Umar Akmal (22) continued the assault of the Zimbabwean bowlers to leave the hosts facing a run chase of 199 which proved more then enough to secure victory.
Charles Coventry (30) and Chamu Chibhabha (28) lead the run chase but with Hafeez (4-10) completing a man of the match performance with the ball, Zimbabwe slumped to a total of just 113 after Ray Price (3) was dismissed in the 16th over.
