Bangladesh gained the upper hand ahead of their forthcoming ODI series against the West Indies after completing a three wicket victory against the tourists in a one off t20 International in Mirpur.
Faced with a victory target of 133, Mushfiqur Rahim (41) and Mohammad Ashraful (24) led the way to help the Tigers seal victory at the Shere Bangla National Stadium.
Marlon Samuels (2-14) and Carlos Brathwaite (1-25) offered the West Indies hope but the tourists were unable to defend such a low total.
Having been put into bat, the West Indies posted a below par total of just 135-7 thanks to some impressive bowling from Shafiul Islam (2-19) and Abdur Razzak (2-27).
Samuels (58) got the West Indies off to a good start thanks to an impressive 37 ball half century but having reached 105-3, the Windies lost five wickets in the space of four overs to leave the Tigers chasing a total of just 133.
