South Africa sealed an 11 run Duckworth Lewis victory over India after heavy rain washed out the visitorís mammoth run chase at the Wanderers in Johannesburg.

Faced with a victory target of 220, India had reached 71-0 after 7.5 overs before heavy rain forced the players off the pitch with India 11 runs behind the par score despite a good start from Gautam Gambhir (49) and Robin Uthappa (18).

It proved to be a disappointing end to the match which saw South Africa record their highest ever t20 International total of 219-4 thanks to a quick fire 78 from Colin Ingram which included eight boundaries and three sixes.

Jaques Kallis (61), Justin Ontong (22) and Farhaan Behardien (20) offered support to leave Indian facing the 2nd highest run chase in t20 international history.
