Shahid Afridi produced an impressive all round performance to help Pakistan draw their two game t20 International series against Sri Lanka thanks to a 23 run victory at the Hambantota Cricket Stadium.

Afridi (52) scored a quick fire half century and picked up two wickets to help Pakistan successfully defend a total of just 122-6 against a miss firing Sri Lank side who were bowled out for just 99 in the final over.

It was a another low scoring affair at the Hambantota Cricket Stadium but a 5th wicket stand of 68 between Afridi and Shoaib Malik (27) tipped the balance of power in favour of the visitors.

Faced with a low ruin chase, Sri Lanka were never in the running after the early loss of Kumar Sangakkara (8) and Nuwan Kulasekara (0) in side the first four overs.

Chamara Kapugedera (19) offered some resistantís but with wickets falling at regular intervals through the Sri Lankanís innings the hosts were denied a series winning victory.
