Pakistan took a 1-0 series lead in their best of three t20 International series against Australia thanks to a comfortable seven wicket victory over the Aussies at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Faced with a victory target of just 90, Pakistan cruised to victory with 31 balls to spare thanks to quick fire cameos from Kamran Akmal (31) and Imran Nazir (22).

Having been put into bat by Pakistan skipper Mohammad Hafeez, the Aussies struggled throughout their innings after they were bowled out for a total of just 89.

David Warner (22) and Cameron White (15) offered some resistant’s but with wickets falling at regular intervals Australia’s inning stuttered against the bowling of Sohail Tanvir (3-13), Raza Hasan (2-15) and Saeed Ajmal (2-13).
