Rain thwarts any hope of play in Visakhapatnam

Persistent heavy rain has forced the t20 International between India and New Zealand at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam to be abandoned without a ball being bowled.

With rain falling through out the evening, the umpires were left with little choice but to call the game off just after 20.15 local time much to the disappointment of a large crowd who had hope to see the return to international cricket of Yuvraj Singh.
