The current t20 World Cup champions proved too strong for Bangladesh after they sealed a 19 run victory over the Tigers at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Marlon Samuels lead the way, blasting 85 runs from just 43 balls which included three boundaries and nine sixes as he helped the West Indies bounce back after the early loss of Chris Gayle (6).

Darren Bravo offered support with a quick fire 41 to help the t20 World Cup Champions set Bangladesh a mammoth run chase of 198 after the Windies had posted a total of 197-4.

Tamin Iqbal (88) and Mahmudullah (64) offered the home side hope with a second wicket stand of 132 but despite their best efforts Bangladesh were restricted to a total of just 179-1.
