Yuvraj Singh ensures India bounces back

India bounced back from their disappointing Test Series against England to seal a five wicket victory against an inexperienced England line up at the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium in Pune.

Yuvraj Singh led the way with three wickets with the ball and a quick fire 38 with the bat to help India chase down Englandís victory target of 158 with 13 balls to spare.

Suresh Raina (26) and MS Dhoni (24) got India across the finishing line but it was Yuvraj which helped shape the course of the game with another all-round performance in the shortest format of the game.

Having batted first a youthful looking England side recorded a total of 157-6 thanks in part to a quick fore half century from Alex Hales which smashed seven boundaries and two sixes.

Luke Wright (34) and Jos Buttler (33) offered support but it proved to be in vain as India controlled the game to go 1-0 up in their two game series which will be completed on Saturday in Mumbai.
