The Otago Volts and Auckland Aces were left waiting to claim their places in the State Twenty20 Final after rain washed out all three State Twenty20 games on Friday.
Heavy rain across the country saw the games at Blake Park, Village Green and the Basin Reserve all abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The Aces will entertain the Volts on Sunday at Eden Parks Outer Oval with the winner assured of a Finals place. The loser will qualify as well if the Canterbury Wizards lose against the Central Stags at Pukekura Park.
