Bulls win toss, elect to bat against Blues

Queensland Bulls captain Chris Simpson has won the toss and elected to bat first at the Sydney Olympic stadium against the SpeedBlitz Blues in tonight crucial KFC Big Bash game.

Both teams go into tonight's game knowing a defeat will end their chances of playing in this years Big Bash Final and missing out on a place in the Twenty20 Champions League later in the year.

There is a chance of rain tonight so both teams will be hoping the showers stay away.

The Blues have made one change for tonight's game, Phillip Hughes returns from Test duties and will open the batting along side Dave Warner.

The Bulls have handed a debut to New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori he only flew into the country today, batsman Ben Cutting misses out and Chris Lynn comes into replace Nathan Reardon.
