Ingram leads Stags to easy victory

Felix Austin | cricket20

PJ Ingram hit an unbeaten 77 to help lead the Central Stags to an easy 6 wicket victory over the Canterbury Wizards at the Saxton Oval in Nelson.

The Wizards were put into bat by the Stags and despite Peter Fulton's knock of 41 they only posted a total of 135 as Seth Rance on debut claimed 4 wickets.

Even with the cameo from Fulton the Aces knew their total of 135 was at least 30 to 40 runs to short and it would take a big effect from their bowlers to record deny the Stags.

The run chase by the Stags was swift as Ingram and Mathew Sinclair (40) peppered the boundary with fours and sixes as they wasted no time in setting up the win.
