Jamie How hit an half century to help the Central Stags to an important win over the Otago Volts at the University Oval in Dunedin.
Chasing a total of 122 for victory the Stags reached the target with an over to spare to seal the 4 wicket victory which puts them within touching distance of the HRV Cup Final.
The Volts batted first and were restricted to 121-9 collapsing from 41-1 to 97-8.
The defeat see's the defending champs needing to win their last game against the Auckland Aces to have any chance of reaching next weeks final.
