The Central Stags cruised to a comprehensive 6 wicket victory over the Northern Knights at Pukekura Park in New Plymouth to keep their hopes of reaching the HRV Twenty20 Cup final alive.

Having put the Knights into bat the Stags blew away the visitors dismissing them for just 110 thanks to some impressive bowling from George Worker (3-18).

Brad Wilson (37) lead the way; but with only Daniel Flynn (18) and Scott Styris (19) reaching double figures the Stags took control.

Faced with such a low total the home side took their time claiming the victory with the winning runs not scored until the 18th over.

Jamie How (35) and Ross Taylor (35) lead the way as the Stags cruised to victory.
