2009 - Volts win Champions League shot
The Otago Volts were crowned Twenty20 champs after a disappointing end to last years tournament which saw the final abandoned without a ball being bowled because of heavy rain. The Volts claimed the title by finishing top of the table after the group stages.
2008 - Stags celebrate Twenty20 triumph
The Central Stags defeated the Northern Knights by five wickets in the State Twenty20 final at New Plymouth’s Pukekura Park to claim their first Twenty20 title in commanding fashion.
2007 - Aces thrash Volts by 60 runs
The Auckland Aces defeated the Otago Volts by 60 runs at the Eden Park Outer Oval to claim the State Twenty20 trophy. Andre Adams hit an unbeaten half-century to build on a century opening stand between Paul Hitchcock, who made 53, and Martin Guptill.
2006 - Wizards cruise to 6 wicket victory
Brendon McCullum struck a dynamic 62 from only 22 balls to help propel the Canterbury Wizards to a six-wicket win in the inaugural Twenty20 cricket final against the Auckland Aces.
