The Chevrolet Warriors beat the Chevrolet Diamond Eagles by just 2 runs in a thrilling game at Buffalo Park to start this years Pro20 with a tense victory.
With the Eagles needing just 9 runs from the final 6 balls Rusty Theron bowled a superb over limiting the visitors to just 5 runs.
The Eagles were set a total of 150 for victory and had looked on course thanks to a fine 73 by Ryan Bailey but with no other batsman scoring above 15 the Eagles came up short.
Earlier in the night Colin Ingram (61) and Nicky Boje (32) performed well with the bat to help set up the Warriors winning total.
