The Nashua Cape Cobras sealed their place in the Standard Bank Pro20 semi finals thanks to a 7 wicket victory over the Chevrolet Warriors at Newlands in Cape Town.
Justin Ontong (42) and Owais Shah (58) lead the way with a 4th wicket partnership of 98 to help the Cape Cobras successfully chase down a victory target of 127 with 7 balls to spare.
Faced with a small run chase the home side got off to a poor start losing Richard Levi (6), Herschelle Gibbs (13) and Dane Vilas (0) inside the first 7 overs to leave the Cape Cobras 29-3.
Despite the slow start Ontong and Shah came together to steer the Cobras home.
Having won the toss the Warriors got off to a good start despite losing Davy Jacobs (4) in the first over as Ashwell Prince (57) and JJ Smuts enjoyed a 2nd wicket partnership of 54.
Justin Kreusch added 17 to help the Warriors reach 90-2 but a middle order collapse saw the defending champions lose 5 wickets in the space of 6 overs to end the innings 126-7.
