The Otago Volts were crowned Twenty20 champs after a disappointing end to last years tournament which saw the final abandoned without a ball being bowled because of heavy rain. The Volts claimed the title by finishing top of the table after the group stages.

2008 - Langeveldt leads Cobras to Pro20 glory
Three wickets from Charl Langeveldt saw the Nashua Cape Cobras clinch a 22-run victory over the Gestetner Diamond Eagles in the Standard Bank Pro20 final. Chasing 148 for victory the Eagles finished on 125 for eight after they began the penultimate over of their innings needing 31 runs for victory.

Neil McKenzie blazed a quickfire half-century to race the Highveld Lions to victory over the Nashua Cape Cobras by six wickets with 14 balls to spare and clinch his first trophy in charge of the Lions.

2006 - Eagles soar to Pro20 title
The Gestetner Eagles cruised to a six-wicket win over a sluggish Nashua Cape Cobras. The match was all over as a contest when the Cobras, who won the toss and chose to bat, dawdled to a dismal total of 112 for seven.

2005 - Titans thrash Warriors to claim title
Four suicidal run-outs from the Warriors cost them dearly as they collapsed from 99 for 2 after 14 overs to be bowled out for 121 with an over to spare, and the Titans cruised to an eight-wicket win in the final of the PRO20 Series at Centurion.
