Pakistan aiming to defend World Cup title in style

Pakistan Twenty20 opener Salman Butt has said Pakistan will defend their Twenty20 World Cup title in style when they kick start their defense in the West Indies later this month. .

The Pakistan players have been taking part in a training camp in Lahore this week as the players have taken the advantage of being snub during Januarys IPL player auction.

While some of the worlds best players are taking part in the IPL the Pakistan Twenty20 squad have been training together and hope this advantage will help one they reach the Caribbean.

"We will go all out to retain the title and put our best for it. When I look at the Pakistan team, especially in this shortest format, I think anyone who plays to his full potential has the ability to single-handedly win the game for us on any given day," said Butt.

"It's going to be a tough tournament. We're in a difficult and tricky group with Australia, which is a very good side. In the shortest format, it's hard to say who will do well as it is all bout who plays well on the day," he added.
