Smith given the go ahead to resume training

South Africa skipper Graeme Smith has resume training ahead of the Twenty20 World Cup following the finger injury he picked up during the Indian Premier League.

Dr. Mohammed Moosajee, South Africa team manager said the medical team was satisfied that Smith had made a complete recovery from his finger injury.

"He has been given the all-clear to resume training in preparation for the ICC World Twenty20 2010 in the Caribbean and the South African tour of the West Indies that follows the event," said Moosajee.

"Graeme did pick up a slight fever last week but he should be ready to start practicing on Wednesday," he added.
