Swann believes England can still win without KP

England spinner Graeme Swann still believes England can defend their t20 World Cup crown despite the lose of big hitting batsman Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen was dropped from the England squad after it was discovered he had texted players from South Africa during the Proteas recent tour of England.

With players like Alex Hales and Jonny Bairstow ready to fill the gap left by Pietersen, Swann believes England are still the team to beat in Sri Lanka.

"Of course we can win it without any single player. Obviously he is a world-class player and was the player of the tournament in the West Indies," said Swann to The Telegraph.

Ideally he would still be a part of the team but hopefully when we get out there the guys who fill that position will do it well," he added.
