Darren Sammy not concerned by favourites tag

West Indies skipper Darren Sammy is unconcerned about his side being given the pre tournament favourites tag for the upcoming t20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.

With a big hitting line up including Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard, Sammy feels his side has an excellent chance of winning the tournament which gets under way on Tuesday, September 18th.

"We have a few of the most experienced guys in t20 cricket in our squad and the squad looks very good," said Sammy to CMC reporters at the start of the West Indies pre World Cup camp.

"Once we go out there and play to our full potential, the way we know we can play, we stand a very good chance," he added.
