Sixers see off the Titans to seal thriller

The Sydney Sixers sealed their place in the t20 Champions League Final on Sunday thanks to a thrilling last ball victory over the Nashua Titans to win the match by two wickets at SuperSport Park in Centurion.

With one run needed off the final ball Pat Cummins (14) scrambled through for a single off a bye to seal the Sixers place in the final against the bizhub Highveld Lions at the Wanderers.

Michael Lumb (33) and Steve OKeefe (32) got the Sixers run chase off to a good start thanks to a 54 run opening stand after they were set a victory target of 164 by the Titans.

Despite a middle order collapse, Moises Henriques (28) and Ben Rohrer (21) held their nerve before Cummins heroics at the end to end the Titans hopes of setting up an all South African final.

It proved to be a disappointing night for the Titans after they recorded a total of 163-5, with the score 82-5 Henry David (59) and David Wiese (61) shared a quick fire 6th wicket stand of 81 but it proved to be in vain.
