Knight Riders break their losing streak in style

The Kolkata Knight Riders finally recorded their first win in this years IPL thanks to a crushing 42 run victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Having set the home side a victory target of 166, the Knight Riders tore through the Royal Challengers top order thanks to some impressive bowling from Lakshmipathy Balaji (4-18).

Daniel Vettori (20) offered some resistant’s but the skipper was unable to keep the Knight Riders at bay as they cruised to victory

Despite the victory questions will be asked by the Knight Riders after they collapsed from 126-2 to 154-8 after they lost six wickets in the space of six overs.

Gautam Gambhir (64) and Manvinder Bisla (46) had looked set at the crease but once the pair had been dismissed the home side took control of the match before their own down fall with the bat.
