Yorkshire win the toss and elect to bat first

Yorkshire Carnegie skipper Andrew Gale has won the toss and elected to bat first against the Sussex Sharks in the first of todays t20 Friends Life semi finals at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff.

Both teams will be aiming to secure their place in the final which takes place later tonight but victory will also guarantee the winner a place on October’s t20 Champions League in South Africa.
